3B Bags

I came across these 3B Bags in the produce section of the grocery store last night and they are such a brilliant idea that I had to buy them. I hate using all those little plastic bags at the grocery store for produce so these reusable ones are a perfect alternative. I'll just keep them in my canvas bag that I bring with me to the grocery store so I always have them on hand. (My grocery store gives five cents to the food shelf every time I use my canvas bag... awesome!)

According to the website,
The Wall Street Journal estimated that the U.S. goes through 100 billion plastic shopping bags annually. (Estimated cost to retailers is $4 billion.) So this will be a great way to do a small part to help. Also, they're machine or sink washable and dry quickly.

Purchase from the website or visit your local produce department. See the website for locations. If you're from Minnesota they're available at Lunds and Byerlys.

  1. Those are awesome - am I seeing them wrong or could you wash your veggies/fruits while in the bag?

  2. You probably could wash them in there Jules, depending on the kind of produce.
