Our first sleepover

Last weekend Louis and I had our first sleepover. Jady and Jason were at a wedding out of town and my parents were gone so Lou and I got to spend the whole day together and into the next. 

We went to lunch and the bookstore where Louis read probably every scary book they had, we went to the toy store and the cookie store and then we were both ready for a nap.

Don't you just love little ones when they're fresh up from their naps?

We had dinner with family and spent some time making father's day cards. I know I'm biased, but Louis is an awesome little artist. I can't wait to see this skill grow with him in the future.

 

Sunday morning Louis crawled into bed with me for the last couple hours of sleep. When we finally both opened our eyes I asked him if he had slept well.

He nodded.

"Did you have good dreams?"

He nodded.

"What did you dream about?"

And there was a pause before his quiet reply,

"Halloween."

I love him.
